About Joel Connery

With over two decades of experience in the field, real estate agent Joel Connery has an impressive resume to accompany his industry expertise. A Southern California native who has spent most of his life in the Golden State, he thrives on helping California buyers reach such a rewarding milestone in their lives: homeownership. A lifelong learner, Joel completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration before he began his career as a corporate procurement specialist in the energy sector. He is highly analytical and adept at problem solving, and, throughout the years, he has learned the importance of “speaking with data.” His business intelligence solutions and data analytics help strengthen his buying and negotiating position on all fronts, and these skills have transferred to a successful career in real estate. For Joel, real estate is a family affair. As an electrician, his father performed site work for major development projects throughout Los Angeles. Additionally, his grandfather worked as a developer and investor, and by visiting work sites, Joel developed a fascination for the beauty of architecture, urban planning, and design. At age 16, Joel began his own venture into real estate by working at his neighbor's mortgage lending firm. After facilitating his first successful transaction, he realized that real estate is more about the person than the sale. Now with extensive experience in commercial and residential lending and investment, Joel has created a business built on efficiency, respect, and inclusivity for all clients.

When he’s not helping his clients, Joel has a wide variety of interests. He enjoys researching new technologies, art, traveling, and nature. He has a passion for health awareness and supports organizations that fund lupus, leukemia, AIDS, and breast cancer research and treatment. He also regularly volunteers at Special Olympics and HomeWalk events.
