What's On in Playa Vista: Upcoming Events and Community Activities

Playa Vista continues to be one of the most active and community-oriented neighborhoods on the Westside. From kid-friendly programming at RUNWAY to summer camps and dance academies, there is no shortage of ways to get involved and enjoy everything this neighborhood has to offer. Here is a look at what is coming up.

Playa Vista Farmers’ Market
Date & Time: Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: 12775 Millennium Dr, Los Angeles, CA

A longtime community favorite since 2009, the Playa Vista Farmers’ Market brings together local produce vendors, food stands, flowers, baked goods, cheeses, and handcrafted gifts every Saturday at RUNWAY Playa Vista. Visitors can browse fresh fruits and vegetables, enjoy ready-to-eat foods like arepas, pastries, and samosas, and listen to live music while exploring the market.

The market also features a KidZone for families and a free compost hub operated by LA Compost. CalFresh and EBT benefits are accepted, making the market an accessible and welcoming neighborhood gathering space throughout the year.

Playa Vista Night Market
Date & Time: Wednesdays, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Starting March 11, 2026
Location: Runway Playa Vista

Playa Vista Nights returns to RUNWAY with an evening market featuring live music, fresh produce, artisanal vendors, and a rotating selection of local food offerings. The midweek event creates a lively community atmosphere where residents can shop, grab dinner, and enjoy outdoor entertainment as the days get longer heading into spring and summer.

Playa Vista Bagels & Brew
Date & Time: July 17, 2026 | 9:00 AM
Location: The Resort | 12852 Runway Rd, Los Angeles

We are excited to host our 3rd community Bagels & Brew in Playa Vista. It has been such a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to come together, connect, and enjoy a relaxed morning over fresh bagels, coffee, and good conversation. We would love for you to stop by and spend time with our wonderful Playa Vista community.

Outdoor Tai Chi at The CenterPointe Club
Date & Time: Tuesdays at 12:30 PM | Starting April 7, 2026
Location: The CenterPointe Club

Enjoy a peaceful outdoor Tai Chi class surrounded by nature at The CenterPointe Club. Participants will move through gentle, flowing exercises designed to improve balance, flexibility, and mindfulness while enjoying the calming atmosphere of the shaded outdoor setting. The class is open to all experience levels and offers a relaxing midday reset during the week.

Sofly Kids Summer Camp
Date & Time: June 15 – August 7, 2026 | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: SoFly Kids

SoFly Kids Summer Camp offers a packed schedule of activities including art, science, sports, cooking, swimming, carnival games, and field trips. The program is designed to keep kids engaged and active all summer while giving them opportunities to make new friends and enjoy hands-on experiences.

Sofly Kids 8-Week Dance Session
Date & Time: July 5 – August 29, 2026
Location: SFK Academy of Dance

SFK Academy of Dance is hosting an 8-week summer session featuring ballet, hip-hop, musical theatre, tumbling, piano, and parent-and-me classes. The program welcomes children from 16 months through teen ages and offers options for a variety of skill levels and interests.
